The University of Washington and University of Oregon, both state-supported schools, have thrown away more than 100 years of tradition for a bigger bite of TV revenue, (' Oregon Ducks heading to the Big Ten in 2024 as Pac-12 crumbles, ' Aug. 4). I am disappointed but not surprised. While I would normally cheer for Washington and whatever team happens to be playing Oregon, my only recourse now is to completely ignore both schools, their donors, their boosters and most importantly their sponsors. This arrogance and this egotism know no bounds.
