Gov. Tina Kotek has tapped two Portland-area residents to serve on the Oregon Transportation Commission, replacing two members — including the board chair — who will not complete their terms. Kotek nominated Alicia Chapman of Portland and Jeff Baker of Lake Oswego to sit on the commission. The board oversees statewide transportation policy and is responsible for major decisions such as the upcoming task of setting tolling costs .
